Mount Fuhjin

Mount Fuhjin is located in the south of Hitachi-city,bordering on Hitachi-Ohta-city, and it is the south end of Abukuma Mountains.

It's altitude is 241.9m above sea level,the summit commands a fine view, you can see the Pacific-Ocean and the row of buildings of Hitachi-city in a panoramic view.

Mount Fuhjin is known as a hard windy area,called "Kazenokamiyama(Mount Wind God)", monuments for gods of wind and thunder were built on the summit in Edo period.

This area is arranged as "Mount Fuhjin natural park",and you can get to the summit by car.
